  • Footage captured using a trail camera deployed at an entrance to a badger sett at a site in Northumberland. The site had showed little evidence of use but over the period of a week the trail camera footage shows up to 5 badgers, suggesting that the sett is occupied by a family group.

  • Thermal imaging footage of brown long-eared bats swarming two hours before dawn - The swarming included four (to five) brown long-eared bats recorded 2 hours before sunrise. It was pitch black therefore we were unable to see any passes with the naked eye. The bat detectors were registering around 1 in 10 long-eared passes although they could be heard with the naked ear more consistently.
