  • UMD Innovates | The Window of the Future
UMD researchers have designed a window that uses solar energy to power devices, allow or block light, and make your home more sustainable. Liquid crystals in the window adjust to allow light to pass through the window, and a thin semiconductor converts solar energy into electricity.
