With about 7 minutes still to play India took off their keeper and ran a kicking back. This resulted in a second goal but it was not enough in the end. At three quarter time, the scores were tied 3-3, although India were leading 3-0 earlier in the game. The final result 5-3 was probably a fair reflection.   • Womens hockey. Scotland ladies v Queensland. The first in a series of 2 friendlies being played as practice matches before the start of the Commonwealth Games 2018. The Scottish team dominated most of the game and created more chances. They only converted a single goal but it could easily have been more. A good start for the visitors in their preparation for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
